The GHTFA Referee Association was established in 2000 to assist the SOTFOA referee program to ensure sufficient referees were available to officiate the league games and to provde a vehicle for players to better understand the game. See list of files on the left side that you can click on for further information on our association.
The GHTFA Referee Association is a paid member through the GHTFA with TFont Ontario. All referees in the GHTFA Referee Association pay a annual fee to ensure coverage and affliation for all TFont Trillium tournaments. The GHTFA Referee Association currently provides referees for the Indoor Touch Football League at Players Paradise in Stoney Creek. Players Paradise offers 3 seasons, Winter/Spring - Summer - Fall sessions. Any former players who were certified through the GHTFA/SOTFOA clinics and would be interested in refereeing at TFont Trillium tournaments, Pls contact Doug Richardson at SOTFOA for further details.
GHTFA Ref Clinic Dates
All LEVEL 1 - 2 - 3 clinics are now being offered through SOTFOA, HTFOA and MTFOA. Pls contact appropriate associations for clinic dates.

The Southern Ontario Touch Football Officials Association (SOTFOA) is our affiliate referee association that works with the GHTFA and it's referee association to provide referees for the game of touch during our season. They have been a part of the GHTFA for over 30 years, under various names to ensure touch football in Burlington is played under the governing rules. The current president for SOTFOA is Doug Richardson who has been a part of their association for over 25 years, is seen reguarly on football fields refereeing touch, flag, indoor and tackle at all levels. If you are interested in becoming an official for their association, please contact SOTFOA through their website.
